Egadi islands

Three islands, three speeds. Favignana is the largest, reachable in 25 minutes by hydrofoil from Trapani, best explored by bicycle. Levanzo has 200 residents and Paleolithic cave paintings. Marettimo, the furthest out, has no tourist hotels, no cars and some of the clearest water in the Mediterranean. Together they form the largest marine protected area in the Mediterranean.
